Classes

Register online to reserve your place in one of our upcoming classes or call us at (816) 554-3755. All cooking classes must be paid for at time of reservation.  Class sizes are extremely limited and tend to fill up quickly...If a class is full, please contact the store to be added to a wait list.  **If you are considering purchasing a class as a gift, we highly encourage you to purchase a gift certificate instead so that the recipient can select the menu and date that works best for them.**
 
All classes are BYOB! Please feel free to bring your own wine or beer with you to enjoy with your meal. We’ll provide the glasses and openers! Water/tea will be provided.  We will remain open for your private shopping during class.  

Cancellation Policy:  We have a strict 7 day cancellation policy.  We will gladly refund your class fee or transfer you to another class as long as your request is made more than 7 calendar days prior to the class date. If you discover that you are unable to attend class within the 7 days prior, we encourage you to find a substitute to take your place. Please understand that we cannot make exceptions.  

Hands On Pasta Making

By popular demand, we have updated this class to Hands On Pasta Making with Francesca. Tonight you'll make, eat, and take home fresh made pasta!  This hands-on class will show you how to make various pasta shapes, including cheese ravioli.  You will make your own ravioli and take home.  While making your pasta, Chef Francesca will prepare and serve Butternut Squash filled Ravioli with mushroon sauce, as well as a Green Ravioli with Pecorinio and Butter Sauce.  You will finish the night with a treat - Affogato!!!

Enjoy an appetizer of Grilled Brie with honey and berries to start the evening. Then we will serve up Chef Matt's signature soup, Tomato Cognac Bisque. The salad for the night is a fresh spin on a classic Nicoise. Entree for the dinner is another favorite of Chef Matt's, Beef Bourguignon with Whipped Potatoes and fresh vegetable. The dessert rounding out a beautiful experience is fresh baked creme Puffs with salted caramel, pecans, and ganache. $75 per person

Chef Francesca is eager to share some delightful dishes from her family's Christmas holiday dinner. These treasured recipes from her Sicilian grandmother are not to be missed.  Start with a small pasta dish, penne marinara, followed by the entrées: Arancini (rice balls), Braciola (stuffed round steak), a simple Italian salad with balsamic and olive oil dressing, and crunchy Italian bread. Conclude with her homemade cannoli. $75 per person

You will enjoy some Crostini ala Romana as you arrive. Soup for tonight is a Tuscan Vegetable with Pancetta. Salad for the dinner is fresh greens with a Fruity Balsamic dressing and garnish. It's tradition Chef Matt carries on with his Wood Fired and Slow Roast Prime Rib of Beef, with Roasted Garlic Whipped potatoes and vegetables. Dessert to cap off the evening is Chocolate bread Pudding with a Salted Caramel Vanilla Custard Sauce.   $85 per person
