Cancellation Policy: If you cannot attend a class for which you are registered, you must notify us at least 7 calendar days prior to the class date. We will gladly refund your class fee or transfer you to another class as long as your request is made more than 7 calendar days prior to the class date. If you discover that you are unable to attend class within the 7 days prior, we encourage you to find a substitute to take your place. Please understand that we cannot make exceptions. Full payment is expected at time of registration.

Join Chef Matt as he revisits some of his favorite dishes he prepared in his Chef Apprenticeship At "Milano Italian Dining" at Crown Center. We will start the evening with an appetizer of grilled bruschetta with tomato basil telish including a balsamic reduction. For the salad course, the Caesar was by far the most popular with a homemade dressing, fresh croutons from the oven, and shaved parmesan. The house soup from that period is a Roasted Red Pepper Bisque with polenta crouton. The main course will be Lasagna made with layers of beef and Italian sausage, homemade marinara, ricotta and mozzarella all baked to perfection! We will enjoy some of Chef Matt's foccacia bread with the dinner. For dessert, he will make a playful rendition of tiramisu with berry compote. This is going to be a fun trip down tastebuds memory lane!

Rachel will teach you to stack, fill, crumb-coat, and apply the final layer of buttercream of this warmly spiced cake. Once our cakes are iced, we will add that caramel drip and finish with a piped border along the bottom of the cake. Don’t worry, we’ll practice before piping on your cake. This class is full of fun and knowledge for beginner cake decorators or for those who need a refresher. All materials will be provided to take the class including a box for participants to take their finished cake home. $75 per person
Intermediate Pasta Making - Hands On

A much-requested pasta making class is back and taking it to the next level! During this very hands-on class, Chef Francesca will teach the art of handmade pasta -- think gnocchi, ravioli, or maybe something a little more unexpected. Do expect to bring your basic pasta making knowledge/skills and an apron to this class. $75 per person

Cast Iron Pizza, Three Ways

Back by popular demand! We keep getting requests to offer our sold-out Cast Iron Pizza class again, and now is the time for a delicious repeat. Same menu, same class, but new date! First, you will enjoy an Italian style salad with an Italian vinaigrette. Then get ready to learn how to make the best tasting pizza at home, using that trusty black cast iron skillet. The class will include our favorite recipes and tips for crusts, sauce and toppings. For a busy family evening, we will show you to prepare Quick and Easy Crust, with Easy-Peasy Sauce, topped with Italian Sausage and Pepperoni. You will love the 24-hour Artisan Crust and we will top it with vegetables and goat cheese. And no pizza class would be complete without a deep-dish pizza. For a sweet dessert, we will again turn to our cast iron skillet for a delicious dessert. This class sells out quickly, so if you missed it before, sign up while you can!

Steak Night in your Cast Iron Skillet

Restaurants and chefs love to cook steak in a cast iron skillet. We will share the secrets to searing steak in cast iron and we bet you will never go back to the grill. We will begin with Steak with Herb Butter. Creamy Potatoes and Leeks also feature our beloved cast iron skillet but taste like no other potato dish you have ever had. We will continue to showcase the cast iron skillet with a delicious summer cast iron vegetable medley and round out the meal with salad and of course a delicious dessert. Be sure to come hungry! Bring your cast iron questions and we will answer them all. That black skillet will no longer be a mystery.

Holiday gatherings are the most fun and we will help you be the gracious host. We will share the tips and recipes you need to host your own event in the style of a classic, elegant English tea. Of course, we will begin with scones and clotted cream. The traditional menu will then feature a plentiful array of savory bites and holiday sweets. Bring your friends and let us keep that China cup filled with tea. It will be a beautiful and fun respite during this busy time of year.
