How to register - Call us at the shop (816)554-3755 for your reservation.  All cooking classes must be paid for at time of reservation.  Please, don't wait to register!  We have minimums and maximums for each class, we don't want you to miss out! 

Cancellation Policy - We are happy to honor requests for refunds or transfers to another class as long as it is made more than seven (7) calendar days prior to the class date.  We encourage you to find a substitute should you discover that you are unable to attend within the seven (7) days prior to class.  Please understand that we cannot make exceptions.  We have a minimum number of students required in order for a class to occur.  We reserve the right to cancel a class for any reason, in which a full refund will be given. 

Full payment is expected at time of registration. Bad Weather Policy - We will make a determination no later than 2 hours prior to a class and will make every attempt to notify you by phone at the phone number you provide us upon registration and/or email.  If we are not able to speak with you in person, we will leave a message.  We encourage you to call us if in doubt. Unless you hear from us the class will be held.

Noodle-rific!
Join Johnna for this first of its kind class in the KC area! Perhaps you’ve heard about the Spiral slicer noodle craze—using vegetables and fruits to create noodles with a simple kitchen tool. Johnna will show you how to create noodles with zucchini, sweet potato, beets and more! We will have a delicious roasted beet salad that has converted many who profess to not like beets, enjoy zucchini pasta with a lemon almond pesto and spice things up with Johnna’s original variation of Korean Japchae, a sweet potato noodle dish. We will even learn how to make dessert with the spiral slicer.   Who this class is perfect for: If you are gluten-free, this is a great alternative to gluten-free pasta. If you are Paleo, reducing carbohydrates or simply want to add more vegetables and less processed pasta to your diet, this is the class for you!

This is Jasper's newest class and workshop using local Heirloom Tomatoes and of course his famous hand pulled Mozzarella used in multiple courses. Jasper will discuss the history at the Tomato along with offering some new and unique recipes from his recent travels to local farms that supply chefs in the Kansas City area. You will also learn the secrets of making cheese curds and pulling fresh Mozzarella. For dessert, a unique Tomato Tart with fresh Ricotta.
